Huanghuacheng Great Wall, about a two hour drive from Beijing, is one of the most enjoyable Great Wall experiences in the Beijing area. Though not officially open to the public, we pay the local farmers to cross their property and walk through their fruit yards and hike about 20 minutes on a small trail to get on the wall. Once there, the view will take your breath away. It’s your “private” Great Wall to enjoy the sunset.

How long should we spend in exploring great wall? Half day tour? One whole day tour?
Which section do you recomment the best? As u heard is over crowded in ba da ling section, mu tian yu also have lots of people…

Thank you so much for contacting us, it would be 130USD/person to the Jinshanling Great Wall for the group of 4 and 100 USD/person to the Mutianyu Great Wall.
For the duration of tour to the Great Wall, it is about 6-7 hours(including the transportation to the Wall and back and touring on the Wall) in average. Also it depends on how long you want to spend your time on the Wall and which section of the Wall you want to visit.
We never take our customers to the Badaling Section of the Great Wall, cause it is too touristy and over crowded like you said. Mutianyu is also a touristy section, but much more better than Badaling Section, you still can enjoy the tour there.
Personally I recommend the Huanghuacheng Great Wall, it’s a non touristy section, quite and beautiful.
